Do you remember that every sentence and phrase in the Constitution was crafted specifically for you? That each item in the Bill of Rights exists to protect you from exactly what we need protection from today?
This is a nation of laws which at this point could stand some culling out, but not by people whose main focus is reelection not the careful stewardship of our nation; not by those in government who tell you to live within your means but can’t maintain or even balance their own checkbooks and think that your tax dollars are part of some private slush fund for them to shop global favoritism.
What does exist...
Are you forgetting that personal freedom and socialism are not a match; that socialism is a system based on fear? Could you point to the sentence in the Constitution or the Bill of Rights that says Americans should live in fear of each other or their government? No you can’t – it doesn’t exist.

So, I guess this is what is taught at public school in America today right? "It's your home look after it cherish it and keep the bad guys out!". Look at what is taught our children about "civics" today and you will probably find that "it's not polite to point at the hairy half-naked middle-aged man riding a Donkey on a flower encrusted float,,,you might hurt his feelings" would be much closer to the mark.
ReplyDeleteIt's time more people stopped ignoring that they have some societal responsibility to STOP AGREEING with every thing that the "talking heads" on the Alphabet channels tell them (you & Me)and tell them all to go straight to "%^**"
It's OK to "JUST SAY NO!"
There are 535 reasons in Washington that this apathy happens. November would be a great time to get rid of the problem - on both sides of the aisle.
